Phase 3 of the Requirements of Participation went into effect Nov. 28, 2019. Surveyors will be asking us, the activity professional, how we are meeting the needs and ensuring quality of life for individuals suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). This workshop will review the facts, risk factors, and information on how to provide quality of life to those with PTSD.
At the conclusion of this webinar, participants will be able to:

- Identify the facts of PTSD and growing trends
- Recognize the symptoms of those diagnosed with PTSD
- Identify the risk factors for developing PTSD
- List non-pharmacological interventions in treating individuals with PTSD
