Join Alexis Roam for a fresh approach that is practical, applicable, and sustainable to manage falls and prevent injuries.  This presentation will introduce the participant to current evidence-based practices, provide realistic examples, and discuss how to build the necessary clinical capacity to manage falls and prevent injuries more effectively.

After this webinar, the attendee will be able to:

  1. Summarize current evidence-based practices to successfully manage falls and prevent injuries.
  2. Illustrate the connections between resident level and system level fall data and how to translate it into information that can be used in fall management.
  3. Describe methods to develop the nurses’ skills to effectively identify fall risks, implement preventative measures, and provide post fall care.

Appropriate for administrators, owners, directors, infection preventionists, directors of nursing, and nurses in skilled nursing facilities and assisted living communities.
