Mental health disorders are not uncommon among older adults. Depression, anxiety, psychosis, and substance use disorders are commonly seen among these individuals. The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in social isolation, fears about mortality, and increased burden of care for these older adults. In this webinar, common psychiatric disorders among older adults are reviewed along with the manifestations of these common disorders among older adults. Simple strategies to manage these disorders during the pandemic will also be discussed.
