The restrictions on communal dining has heightened the role food plays in the lives of the residents. Serving nourishing food in a safe manner has always been a focus of the food and nutrition department. However, now more than ever, the importance of the dining experience is highlighted. The COVID-19 pandemic has brought many challenges to long term care communities, but this is one challenge you can overcome with creativity and teamwork!
