Alcohol and/or drug use by employees negatively impacts the safety, health, and well-being of the workplace and workforce. The signs and symptoms of abuse and how to help a coworker abusing substances will also be explored.


At the conclusion of this webinar, participants will:

  1. Describe the problem of alcohol and/or drug abuse in the workplace
  2. Identify substances of abuse and the warning signs and symptoms of abuse
  3. Illustrate how to help a coworker who abuses substances


This webinar is appropriate for all staff in nursing facilities, assisted living, hospice and palliative care, and home health.
